• My story of long-term disability starts like many others. The first two years were fairly reasonable. But suddenly, at month 25, everything changed. • While the official name of the law firm is McKennon Law Group PC, I prefer to call them the “Miracle Workers.” I approached Robert McKennon and Scott Calvert with a very complicated problem. When my long-term disability claim ended in 2017, I realized that I might have been underpaid for 17 years. • Robert McKennon recently resolved a dispute we had with an insurance company regarding long-term disability insurance coverage. I met Bob through a search of experts in the area of disability insurance and after talking with him knew we had the right attorney. In short, my wife had been receiving long-term disability insurance payments for almost thirty years, and the relationship with her insurance company was quite hostile at times. In the Fall of 2015, the company notified my wife that she no longer qualified for disability insurance benefits because her increase in her teacher salary set her over the threshold to receive benefits. • A devastating car accident left me with severe back pain, leg and muscle spasms to the point where I was unable to work or live my life like I was able to do before the accident.
